Job Title: Part-Time Retail Manager - Boutique Store (Menstrual Cycle Management Products)
Location: Asheville, NC
Salary: $18-22 per hour, pay based on experience (with bonus incentives for reaching or exceeding sales goals)
About Us:
We are a boutique store located in Asheville, NC, specializing in selling reusable and organic menstrual cycle management products. Our mission is to provide sustainable, eco-friendly products while promoting awareness and education about menstrual health.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring adequate stock levels of all products
- Staff the store during most open days, including weekends and some holidays
- Handle ecommerce customer service emails promptly and professionally
- Assist with ecommerce inventory management, including updating product listings and managing online orders
- Collaborate with the team to create engaging social media content and marketing campaigns
- Co-manage and co-mentor part-time employees, including scheduling and training
- Drive sales and meet or exceed sales goals through effective merchandising and customer engagement
- Reach out to the local community to find experts for workshops relevant to cycle care and women/AFAB health topics.
- Stay up to date on applicable events relevant to the industry and prepare sales/promotions/workshops around timely topics.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail and ecommerce management
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable discussing sensitive topics related to menstruation
- Ability to study and be trained about the products carried in the store in order to provide the best shopping experience for customers
- Personal experience with reusable period care products is a bonus, but not required
- Self sufficient and motivated
- Organized and proficient in calendar management
