Period Nirvana is looking for an incredible part-time Retail Manager for our brick and mortar store in Asheville, NC. The ideal candidate will be as passionate about helping our customers find their perfect period product and improve their periods as we are.

Job Title: Part-Time Retail Manager - Boutique Store (Menstrual Cycle Management Products)

Location: Asheville, NC

Salary: $18-22  per hour, pay based on experience (with bonus incentives for reaching or exceeding sales goals)

About Us:

We are a boutique store located in Asheville, NC, specializing in selling reusable and organic menstrual cycle management products. Our mission is to provide sustainable, eco-friendly products while promoting awareness and education about menstrual health.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring adequate stock levels of all products
  • Staff the store during most open days, including weekends and some holidays
  • Handle ecommerce customer service emails promptly and professionally
  • Assist with ecommerce inventory management, including updating product listings and managing online orders
  • Collaborate with the team to create engaging social media content and marketing campaigns
  • Co-manage and co-mentor part-time employees, including scheduling and training
  • Drive sales and meet or exceed sales goals through effective merchandising and customer engagement
  • Reach out to the local community to find experts for workshops relevant to cycle care and women/AFAB health topics.
  • Stay up to date on applicable events relevant to the industry and prepare sales/promotions/workshops around timely topics. 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in retail and ecommerce management
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable discussing sensitive topics related to menstruation
  • Ability to study and be trained about the products carried in the store in order to provide the best shopping experience for customers
  • Personal experience with reusable period care products is a bonus, but not required
  • Self sufficient and motivated
  • Organized and proficient in calendar management
