Cup won’t pop open, I think it’s too soft
Garrison P.
The cup is too big and the quiz recommended that cup for me

Definitely not for me. Extremely hard to remove.

I have used the Lena cup small before but the shape of the rim and the firmness put pressure on my bladder and urethra making it difficult to pee. This one didn't! It feels so much better. The Lily cup is very soft on most of the body with two firm backbones. There are no holes, so it takes a particular touch to break the seal. But the soft body makes that easy. I'm loving it so far!

This is definitely a great cup. I previously used the saalt regular and had some problems reaching it. This cup solves that problem as it's super tall. I like that it's soft, but sometimes I have problems opening it. I pinch it a bit, do squats and that usually helps. It's still a great cup and I will continue using it.

My cervix is pretty high on my period. I loved the idea of having a softer and longer cup (because my previous cup was the complete opposite) and the Lily Cup seemed like the perfect fit for me. The first time I used this cup, I noticed that it was a little too long for me and it kept suctioning onto my cervix, which gave me pretty bad cramps. I figured out that cutting a little bit off the stem worked better for me and it allowed the cup to sit lower in my vagina, which got rid of its cervix suctioning problem. Removing it is pretty easy, however you do have to reach up pretty far to fold in the rim because it is much firmer than the rest of the cup and pinching the bottom doesn't break the seal at all. Another thing I would like to mention was that at the start, I had lots of problems getting this cup to pop open. What ended up working for me was inserting the cup using a C fold rather than a punchdown fold and pushing the cup further very slowly then sliding it out slightly and repeating this process until I felt a tiny pop inside. The one downside is that the anti-spill rim in this cup makes the opening of this cup so narrow that it is still prone to suctioning onto my cervix perfectly if I accidentally push the cup in too far. Overall though, this cup is really comfortable once I got the hang of it and I think I will be sticking to this cup for a while :)

About 4 months into trying them, I love a menstrual cup WAY more than tampons! I like being able to wear it for 10-12 hours, and it is less drying than tampons.
I’m in the process of finding the right cup for me. This review is for size B intimina lily. I like that it’s longer than the Honeypot size 1 that I struggled to reach the base of when removing. I preferred the seal and ease of insertion of the honeypot. I’m not crazy about the extra rim on this Lily cup as I never had trouble with spilling anyway, and this just adds to the washing process get under the rim. Will probably try another brand next, but am quite comfortable using this Lily a few more months. Removal is so much easier, it’s worth it!

This is my 2nd cup after trying saalt, which was was too hard to retrieve with a high cervix. I’ve tried this one about 6 times over 3 cycles and still cannot get it to open properly despite all of the trouble shooting “tricks”. I got the hello disc at the same time and have had good success, I think I’m just going to stick with it instead.

I really do love this cup! I have an extremely high cervix, so other period cups have been horror stories up to this point. It does have a bit of a learning curve when it comes to insertion and removal, but I have found that tugging on the stem gently after insertion helps to open up the cup. My only complaint is that I did experience more cramping than usual, but because this is the first cup I have used consistently, i’m chalking it up to being my body getting used to it. I totally recommend this as a great first time cup because it’s so soft and can be folded down super small!

I love this cup! It wasn't my first cup, and I think that helps because there was a bit of a learning curve for me due to how soft it is. Softer cups can be harder to get/stay open, and this one doesn't have suction holes, either. I got this cup based on the length because I have a high cervix and that was perfect! It's my goldilocks cup, for sure!

I am under 18 and have a high cervix and an average flow. Since this cup has no suction holes, I found that it didn’t completely open inside me. After watching one of Kim’s videos I followed her advice and put my finger around my vaginal walls and also pulled down slightly on the rim to let air in. It worked. But then whenever I moved the air left, the cup moved and somehow tucked sideways behind my pubic bone obviously I had leaks. Apart from that I only had a slow pee stream. However I won’t give up for the planets sake, and now that I have taken the test again I am planning on getting a disc.

I have had one small leak but i dont think i had a good seal. Otherwise great product.

This cup did not work for me. I realize now I must have measured my cervix incorrectly but it was too long. Disappointed that it didn't work.

I tried to insert the Lily (size lg) on five different occasions. Each time, I tried a different fold. It wouldn’t open. Then I felt around the perimeter on my last try, and the cup felt like it was open. I tried to push it up and back, and it wasn’t budging. I assumed I was good to go, but there was leakage. I’m thinking that my cervix tilts and points to the left, so I’m guessing it just didn’t fit my body. I went back to the Salt soft cup and was happy as pie. I realized that my cervix points left so that’s why I could never retrieve it with my right hand. Since I’ve been using my left hand, I can get it out very easily.

The love the length of the cup. I don't have to put my fingers in and go finishing for the cup like certain shorter cups. Also love that the cup is comparatively narrow so it opens up easily unlike very bulbous cups.
Massive props to the reinforced rim that also helps with the cup opening up.
Only downside is that there are no air holes so breaking the suction is a tad harder with the Lily cup.

Lily cup was great for me! Im 17 and it was my first cup and super easy to use :) my tip would be to take it in and out in the shower to avoid mess

I love this cup. It’s my backup cup and it’s always dependable. It takes a bit of time to get used to it not having suction holes, but I find it to work out for my body. It’s a great cup to have in your cup arsenal.

Horrible experience... it doesn’t pop, and the fit was just so so bad :(

As a teen absolutely new to Menstrual cups, looking at it the first time was like "that goes there?", but it was so easy to get in and out and I didn`t feel it during use and of course no leaks !
